Orphan X

This was ok.  Not great, and a very VERY far fetched.

Evan Smoak is an anti-hero.  An assassin trained as Orphan X from a child.

And the orphan project got shut down, so now he helps out those who need help.  Very episodic.

So he helps out a Hispanic girl, who then puts his next client onto him, who needs help getting away from the casino mob that she owes millions to.  And they have her Dad, Sam captive.

Except it's all a big set up.  She's already had her debts paid off by the group that is actually trying to kill off Evan.  he susses on, when he looks at where one of the assassination attempts were made, and realises that he would have been in the road, and that the target is him.

So from there, he's trying to figure out why and who is trying to kill him.  Oh, and then he gets a call from the next person who needs his help.  Which means one of them is a lie, as his rule is only pass on his number to one person.  (of course, it could be that the first person passed his details on twice, that that's never even considered)

Turns out it's Orphan ?? trying to kill him, because....he's been told to.  After many cat and mouse chases, he manages to kill that orphan.

And the girl he's been helping out - well, she was the lie, as she stabs him.  later on she gets shot by the big boss, who is.....Orphan Y, who works for the Government still, and they're trying to kill any Orphans who don't work for the Govt, until there is 1 left.

So many twists, but it's not done that great.  Especially when at the end Orphan Y is at Evans house, and no surprises, Evan remote detonates a bomb killing him.  But no body turns up, and the final chapter hints that he's not dead after all.    So.....he'll be back.

To be honest, it was a bit stupid.
